This development will regenerate the former SJ Bargh haulage site, which has been vacant since 2013, with new two, three and four-bedroom family homes.
Nine of the 30 homes in the development are to be made available for shared ownership and affordable rent.
The three-acre development site lies on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The scheme has been designed to be sensitive to this rural village location and its picturesque surroundings.
The new homes will be arranged around two separate cul-de-sac access roads, while the development will also benefit from significant amenity space and access to the nearby River Lune cycleway.
The proposed houses have natural stone and white render elevations and slate roofs, with the majority of homes benefiting from detached or integral garages. All the homes enjoy front and rear gardens and off road parking.
