Red tape cutting plans welcomed

After a long period of consultation and deliberation, the government has announced its plans for significantly reducing the amount of red tape developers and house-builders have to face.

Under the housing standards review, changes will see 100 standards reduced to 10, and the pages of guidance go down from 1,000 to fewer than 100.
