Housing plan must involve old AND new homes

The question of whether the UK should focus on building new homes or fixing old ones has become a subject of heated debate.

Among the ‘fix it’ lobby is Anne Power, of the London School of Economics, who believes housing pressures can be reduced by measures such as repairing unused property and reclaiming old terraces under housing action area projects.
